Stefania Milan (1979) is a researcher and consultant on issues of internet activism and communications governance. She is also a journalist and member of the UK National Union of Journalists. Stefania teaches data journalism theory and techniques at Tilburg University, and is the founder of the interdisciplinary Data J Lab.
She is the author of Social Movements and Their Technologies: Wiring Social Change (Palgrave, 2013), and co-author of Media/Society (Sage, 2011).
