Mathijs Rotteveel (35) is Business Editor at Dutch free sheet De Pers. In less than two years De Pers has grown to the largest quality newspaper in The Netherlands, with almost one million readers a day. For De Pers he writes about financial markets, banks and insurers. The last months he spent most of his time writing about the credit crunch. He has also contributed to business glossy Quote and financial magazines Money and Beleggers Belangen. Before becoming journalist he worked as riskmanager for Labouchere Clearing on the Amsterdam Option Exchange. He finished his masters in Financial Economics at Radboud University Nijmegen.
